Project Profile
This project involved the installation of above-ground drainage, domestic water, gas, heating, ventilation, and VRF systems throughout the building. Works included new PVC drainage, mains-fed domestic water with booster and hot water cylinders, gas distribution throughout the building and kitchen areas, LTHW heating via radiators, ventilation systems, and VRF units providing heating and cooling to main spaces.
Project Experience
Above Ground Drainage
Above ground drainage installed in PVC to WC’s, kitchens and bars. Three macerators used in the 1st floor Games Area Bar; 1st Floor Accessible Toilet & Ground Floor Bin Store.
Domestics
Mains cold water feeds cold water storage tank, booster set installed to feed BCWS to the building and to 2no 500l hot water cylinders. Hot water generation from boilers with immersion heaters for back up.
Gas
New gas pipe from incoming gas meter throughout building, feeding 3rd floor kitchen, 2no burners to AHU01 & AHU02 and 2no 60kw boilers. Our workshop was used for the welded gas pipework.
LTHW Heating
LTHW heating is installed in the WC’s, lobby and staff lockers, via radiators and over door heater in the Lobby.
Ventilation
Supply and extract ventilation to main areas is via AHU01. Supply and extract ventilation from the kitchen is from separate supply and extract fans. Each WC has a designated extract fan, along with the Staff Room.
VRF
VRF units supply heating and cooling throughout the main areas, external condensers are installed on the 5th Floor roof.
