WeWork is a global provider of flexible managed workspaces, offering a high-quality environment for professionals. The project involved the conversion of a traditional multi-storey office building in central Manchester, with new MEP services throughout.
Project Experience
The project involved the installation of new heating, cooling and ventilation systems, as well as reconfiguring and recommissioning some of the existing installation. The new heat recovery air handling unit had to be brought in through the pedestrian entrance. To achieve this, we had to break down the AHU to component parts and then rebuild in situ. Aside from the new VRF installation, 114 four-pipe fan coils had to be reused, requiring careful removal and storage before recommissioning.
