New & Refurbished Buildings
Historical building refurbishments come with a unique set of challenges and opportunities to transform existing buildings. We're proud of our heritage in historic building refurbishment and count the Beonna Church as a fantastic example.
A boarded-up church for 15 years, the Beonna Church was transformed into one of the finest venues of its kind in the UK. Shortlisted for the ‘Best Rescue of a Historic Building or Place’, the church in Bennington, near Boston, underwent a £2.3m investment and now provides a unique venue for live music, theatre, dance and more.
SBS provided all mechanical packages to this project, delivering a fully-compliant installation while maintaining the full reflection of the building’s heritage.
