SBS was established in 2003 and has since grown to become one of the Largest independent Mechanical, Electrical and Construction contractors in the East Midlands.
In this time, we have worked closely with a multitude of clients to deliver tailor-made MEP installations to most sectors in the UK. SBS are here to partner with you and help you towards a more sustainable, cost-effective, efficient and easy-to-maintain installation.

We pride ourselves on the aftercare support we offer our clients. Our small works and maintenance division enables us to provide an aftercare and maintenance service to ensure we support our clients long after a project is completed.
Barry has extensive experience in the building services industry, with a background in mechanical engineering before founding SBS in 2003. He brings a wealth of engineering expertise, combined with an eye for business and takes an active role in driving SBS forward.
Richard has been involved with the running of SBS since 2005. Prior to heading up our financial side, he worked as a chartered accountant. Richard is highly organised, and his level of attention to detail enables us to run efficiently while facilitating our continued growth.
Richard has an extensive background in MEP design, having worked for consultancies and contractors on a range of projects. He plays a pivotal part in laying the engineering foundations of every project.
Matt has worked in the construction industry for over 35 years, acting for the Client, Main Contractors and Sub-contractors as Project Manager, Employers Agent, Contract Manager, and Quantity Surveyor and oversees the Commercial decision of SBS.
Jonathan has worked on a wide variety of commercial and industrial projects. Working with clients and project delivery teams to continually raise standards.
Dominic oversees the successful delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Construction projects. With extensive experience in project delivery and management, he drives innovation, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement. Dominic works closely with clients, partners and teams to support the continued growth and long-term success of the business.
